Being moved....

Let's talk about being moved...

The english language has so many nuances and when we think about being moved, it can mean moving your body, (as in physically moving) which is recommended for good health, or being moved emotionally and spiritually.

There are so many different ways to move your body and I highly recommend exploring many of these ways. I love dancing and exercise and walking, paddle boarding, cycling, drumming, etc.
In this blog over the next few months we will be featuring many different practices that physically move the body and ways to cause vibration/movement in the body.
We will also be exploring and featuring ways to move you emotionally and spiritually.

Personally, I love being moved by art, poetry, music, sunsets, nature and life in general.
I find ways to be moved everyday and I am open to being moved in all the ways that life chooses.

Having your world rocked by events, circumstances and people may not always be pleasant and usually moves you in a different direction and usually when we look back at these events, they were more positive than we originally thought and helped us move out of situation and circumstances that did not support our overall growth and wellbeing and moved us into a new area of being/life.

Being moved is also very subjective, due to our own beliefs, programming and life experiences. If we were to approach being moved as an open slate, this experience could and would be very different and life expanding. We would have nothing to compare it to and thus we would look at it with new eyes and we would be awed by it all. I love that and remind myself often to just be open and experience it all again in a new and profound way. I long to be moved and when I get out of my own way it happens frequently.
